Ubuntu is organised as a partnership between different organisations and individuals.
Organisations, or partners, take on different roles in Europe and Africa in ensuring that co-ordination and management of the awards are transparent and properly co-ordinated. You can read about the role of the different partnershere.
The Jury (five young Europeans and five young Africans) consist of individuals who have demonstrated a clear interest, understanding, and experience of international voluntary service. They have the important role of judging applicants for the awards. You can read about each of the ten jury membershere.
We are still in discussion about the patron, but it will be someone who has a public profile and demonstrable interest in the principles of Ubuntu and enthusiasm for the awards and projects. We will update information about the Patron as soon as we can!
